Myself Mevox and I am a vocalist from India . I presently work for the band' EDGE' and I also work independently. This is what I live for- MUSIC. This is my soul and my love . I also do random production stuffs on 'FL STUDIO' and I also play Instruments like Violin and Piano.
What do you do?
I am presently working on a track with a producer named TOX-SIN. I already worked with him on a cover song of' Something just like this' by 'Chainsmokers' and 'Coldplay' and an original track named' Lover's Sin'. Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?
I was never into music at first.All I knew about music was pop singing and metal.I never thought music could inspire anyone or get into someone's life until I found a band called Linkin Park and their late lead singer Chester Bennington. I always wanted to sing like him and moreover sing the songs that he used to do because they were so catchy ,relevant,inspirational and he is one of the prime reasons that I'm still into music today but his demise is still a heavy heartbreak for me .

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
The biggest mistake that I think I've made while getting into this industry is that at first I never used to work so much on my track.I always used to record them in my first attempt and put some random compressors and I never really used to check the mishaps in my track . My advice could be that you should never release some random or mugged up track of yours.Try generating new ideas and unique freshness to the track and try to make it to the level that people could call it 'PERFECT' because the first impression is the best impression.

Like I said ,collaboration would help in making big wonders. You always meet new people while doing it and it also share fans and admirers for you too and could possibly promote yourself.

Do you have insights on how to grow your audience on soundcloud that you want to share with our audience?
Collaborations could be the number one strategy according to me because sitting at home and working on yourself and posting it online could not see a big change in your success.But collaborating with other artist might do some wonders which might also lead to some record labels in signing you too.

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
My biggest challenge is that I never got an opportunity to spread western music among my locality because people would never get interested into those. So,no one usually shares my videos or songs to others nor do I get any attention from other artist around the city or from outside and I would really like to get over that challenge because music is music not matter what the genre they belong to or the language in which it could be performed.

How do you personally discover new music?
I always listen to new tracks and keep the library updated.I just keep a note of the variety of new instruments and techniques used and I always try to draw new patterns of melodies . But I keep on getting the fails and irrelevant music. But I try to correct it by working hard and atlast , hardwork is what matters to be unique and successful.

Once you discovered new music, do you tell others about the new music/artist you discovered? If yes, how exactly?
“Yes. I always like to discuss my ideas with others and I mostly do it with my buddy artist TOX-SIN and among my band members. I do try to get an opinion from the by showing them the idea I've made to let me know myself if this track is catchy or not.

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
Listening to good music does. Good music is which gets into involve your mind and your thoughts .So making music which would provoke the inner consciousness of person would help so much in improving the production skills.

What is your best tip for those who struggle with finishing their tracks?
Everyone don't have a similar taste of music . Making a smooth finishing to your music could be ideal if you invite your co-artists or any music friend to listen to your track and their suggestions would always help you.

We meet again in one year. What has changed?
So much would have changed except my behaviour . Haha. I am just a professional with no typical good reaches . I would like to work hard and make new music for my people . I would like to spread my kinda music around the world and yes , twelve months could so much change everything in the way we work,the way we sing and also the way we think but music would never change.
