Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I'm a recording artist, singer/songwriter, classically trained musician, sound engineer & producer from Watford, Hertfordshire, UK, making music in the genres of Drum & Bass, House and Electronic.
In May 2017 I launched a Pledge Music crowdfunding campaign to help fund my brand new solo E.P 'Start Again'.

The campaign raised 106% of my goal amount which was amazing! I released the EP myself independently in September 15th 2017 gaining plays on BBC Radio 1Xtra and lots of support from drum and bass DJs.
I was proud to be part of Wickaman’s compilation album ‘Bugged Out’ released in Oct 2016, collaborating with Wickaman, Mirrormirror and Klimax. Our track ’Poison’ and previous EP ‘Back To Life’ were released by Wickaman’s Bughouse label.

I have had tracks supported and played by BBC Introducing on BBC Three Counties Radio, Tracks continuously played on Channel 4’s ‘Hollyoaks’ and support from BBC Radio 6’s Tom Robinson. I previously recorded a pop album produced by BRIT award winner Simon Ellis (S Club7, Spice Girls, Britney Spears). Up until Dec 2014 I ran my own business for ten years – a recording studio in Watford High Street called The Sound Cube. I engineered & mixed every session from soloists, groups of up to 18 kids (from 7yrs +) to small bands, harpists and instrumentals.
I realised I had a passion for songwriting and music technology and started writing my own songs and recording them myself when I was only 11 years old. At school I learnt to play piano and saxophone and studied A-Level Music. I gained a Diploma in Music Technology at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I was lucky enough to have parents with excellent music taste! So I grew up listening to the sounds of Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Carole King, Donavon, The Beatles, Mama & Papas, Madonna, Spandau Ballet, Bananarama… These were the artists that influenced my songwriting and flair for catchy melodies and hooks! Then in my teenage years I got into jungle and drum and bass and would constantly listen to Baby D, Goldie, Andy C, Roni Size and all the original 90's drum and bass pioneers! High Contrast is also a huge favourite of mine also along with, Wickaman, Chase and Status and Wilkinson. Noticeably all these drum and bass artists/djs are male apart from Baby D!

Music-wise I've got a couple of big collaborations which are due to be released this year house tracks and drum and bass so keep your eyes peeled for those!
