Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello it's molitor jitter aka Elihpoeht from Elihpoeht Record. Molitor Jitter is a mix between glitch hop drums with house, chill chords and an ethereal atmosphere from the rock of the 90.
My real name is Théophile and I used to be a psychedelic rock fan and started music 10 years ago. I've started to record loop in cubase with my guitar and a saxophone. Now i work with live and love mix music and video on the time through ableton live. I've also made a free sample pack for those who like my jazzy glitchy tune.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I started music with a rock band when I was a teenager. We play rock, funk raggae music and started to mix each of our influence in an original way. Then I discovered Bass music and I fall in love with dubstep. But the real turn over was when I discovered funky and jazzy glitch sounds two years ago. Since one year I've started the project molitor jitter and launch 2 ep that are free download. One is a funky glitch ep and the last one is chill house glitch ep.
What´s new right now?
I'll play soon in Madrid in a club call "la guinguette". I've made two live one dub/dubstep and the other jazzy glitch. Ready to discover new city to make people dancing !
