Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I am Moon Mane, or Moon as many of my peers have called me. I am a producer/dj based in Dallas TX. I work on a new project everyday while Painting & doing Graphic Design on the side. I started Djing at just 14 took a break & picked it back up at 18 as well as getting into producing at age 18. I have worked many jobs that I have Lovedfor their own reasons, but I have take my music career to the next level to dedicate my life to solely music. My work consists of things such as Hip Hop/ Rap, Bass House, Techno, Experimental & Trap.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
People that I can say that I have been influenced by Musically has been Benny Benassi, Kanye West, Lex Luger & a great friend & fellow Dj, Dj Reazon. Every influence that I have has only grew into a better style of themselves & thats what I like about them, they aren’t afraid to grow. Following similar roads as my influences I have also accepted change in my own style & have even pushed boundaries just to see where it leads me.
What´s new right now?
I have a show at Deep Ellum Art Co. where I spin monthly Jan.27, 2018 located in Dallas Tx. I also have more shows at Illectric River coming summer 2018, & many more shows throughout the year TBA. How do you personally discover new music?
I usually discover new music by checking mixtape sites, checking beatport & following music podcasts to stay in tune with moving culture.

Once you discovered new music, do you tell others about the new music/artist you discovered? If yes, how exactly?
“I tell others about it to a minimum. I tend to find myself a little selfish with music sometimes. I want to indulge in the full thing before I share it with anyone. I try not to give too many details about the project because I dont want to put thoughts into their heads on how it sounds.
