Read the Moretein Interview below and share it on social media.
Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
17 year old DJ and Producer who makes all genres of house music. I have worked with labels such ass Deep Obelisk, Basse Profonde, Haven & Trip World. I am currently living in different countries and but am based in the UK.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I first started making music in 2012 after I had surgery and was no longer able to play ice hockey. I have always loved big room with its constant booming kicks and discovered bass house music when jauz releases his “rock the party” with ephwurd. When I was 8 I had my dads iPod and listened to chemical brothers & many other underground strange electronic music. I have only been making house music for 7 months. The launch of confession really got me into just a new wave of house music. since then I have been all over the place with my genres in house music.
What´s new right now?
Currently because I am living and studying abroad I am not doing any events. In June I will be hosting my “Moretein’s house house party” as I will be leaving the country that has really shaped my career at such a young age.
With regards to releases I will be releasing on various different labels working me way up on popularity. I will be releasing my debut four track EP next months “identity” on HAVEN a local record label that has shaped my career. The EP is going to be very different compared to everything that is coming simply because I made it during the summer period.
I am releasing on DEEP OBELISK once again on the Mizmo – Modern City Remix EP on the 25th of January if I am not wrong.
Finally with regards to anyone wanting to contact me for booking or whatever my email is listed on my soundcloud aswell as all of my social media!
Thanks for the support
