Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
For those who do not know me, I'm Mr. Fillets, a new emerging music producer and DJ who seeks to convey what every musician feels when he makes music.
My great passion is making music, and that began thanks to the album by Tiesto "In Search Of Sunrise 7: Asia". That album marked my life because with the sounds and all the mixed rhythms and lyrics I started to feel like I wanted to do something like that, and, over time, my hunger was bigger and I started learning how to create that kind of music, and how express feelings and emotions in a song.
Also, I had the opportunity to see Laidback Luke live, one of my favorite DJ's. That concert pushed me more to be what I am now, because when I saw it and saw all the energy that was transmitted to it, all the incredible passion and love that it showed to the crowd, and all the feelings and emotions that we felt that night, I told myself that I wanted to be like that.
I always looked for the opportunity to express more than a great rhythm or a good fall with my music, and I have always looked for great opportunities to transmit what each musician feels when he makes his music.
I am someone who seeks to transmit our day to day as musicians and normal people in their music. I keep my style, the style that was discovered by House Party Records, a Las Vegas music label. They are the ones who supported my style since my first release with them and who have seen me grow as a producer.
Being part of House Party Family and having my song "Change Old Love" signed with them was a great achievement, beacuse that give me the chance to reach more people all over the world.
I have to say that practically Mr.Fillets came to light thanks to them, and I´ve been learning a lot thanks to the retroalimentacion that we have.
Something very personal that I want to share with who are reading this and with my fans is that this is a difficult path in which you must be constant and sometimes there will be difficult moments in which you have such a horrible feeling of emptiness and you´re going to feel that you will never get it, but that will help you to place yourself in a place that you want to be, and if you really want it, you have to go for it.
Don´t let that anybody tell you how to do the things or how to live your life, you better than anyone knows how to do your things and how to live your life, you just have to work hard and never give up and always keep your hopes up high and always search that opportunity that will change your life.
That´s what Mr. Fillets it´s.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
In terms of influences I could say that Laidback Luke, Markus Shulz, Deadmau5 and Yellow Claw are the ones who had the most presence in my musical growth both to produce and to play different music generes but with a unique style and my personal sign.
Over time my tastes did not change much though the new artists of big labels like Barong Family, Ones to Watch and House Party Records are the ones who have the greatest influence in terms of production and mix within my project
What´s new right now?
At the moment I´m working on new releases with House Party Records the La Vegas label that sees me grow up and also I´m working in some tracks that I want to be listened for diferent persons and labels and get the opportunity to leave my style in many parts of the world.
This year comes with very good things musically talking. I´m goint to start the process to be part of labels of the size of Barong Family and Ones To Watch. Also I really like it to start a tour or some live concerts to give my music and my sounds to another countries and citys. I know the process can be hard, but those are my proposites for me and for my proyect.
