Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hey guys my name is MYDIR I would describe my dj'ing style as uplifting house music.I am currently based in Manchester England.in 2016 i attend the Electronic school of music. where i started to learn my craft as a DJ and producer.Because of my passion for all music I decided to create my own podcast/radio show Electronic Motion.A show where i could showcase my love for other sub genres within electronic music and give other DJs a chance to showcase there skills in the guess mix.The show goes out on the 30th of every month.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
When i was growing up I was more into hip hop and soul and started my journey into music by collecting vinyls and listening to the likes of Michael Jackson prince Marvin Gaye to name a few.it wasn't till later on when i visited ibiza and witness to the likes of Erick Morillo ,Luciano, and carl cox that started to fall in love with electronic music and the skill and art form that these guys was bringing to the dance floor. and from that made me won't to become a DJ.My taste in music is forever changing. And as a DJ i believe you must have a great knowledge of all music.As the music industry is forever changing.
What´s new right now?
In 2018 i aim to continue to find my own sound in the studio and have my own music out there later this year.I am currently working on rebranding my podcast Electronic Motion as we plan a number of new features to the show. and more great music and live feeds.the show is now available on i tunes and Mixcloud.Also out later this month on soundcloud is volume 2 of my mix series bringing down the house.bringing a great blend of house mix Follow my journey on the links below.
