Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hi, I'm NOISECHOIR! I make fun dance pop with funk and soul influences. I started this project because some people just take the world too seriously, and I wanted to give people a break from the stress of their everyday lives. Our live show is a blast! When we play live, it's usually with our drummer Alex Duck, and our guitar wizard Scott "Whataburger" Langford. We'll also play with a rapper, two singers, and a saxaphone player depending on who's available. It's all about letting your hair down and the boogie ? How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My taste in music changes drastically all the time! For this project, I draw from legendary performers like Rick James and James Brown. I also emulate electronic artists like Capyac and Lindsay Lowend. I have also been listening to a lot of jazz lately.
What´s new right now?
I'm really stoked to play a Road to Backwoods show on March 24 at Scratchouse. This will be a great preamble to Backwoods Music Festival, and we will be sharing the bill with awesome artists like Ryan Viser. Check out the event on our Facebook page below, I'll see you there!
