OBLIVIOVS

Check out and share our OBLIVIOVS Interview. This interview is part of our new Producer & Engineer Q&A Series. In this interview series we feature exciting producers, mixing and mastering engineers from all walks of life. As always: Share & Support!

Please introduce yourself real quick. Tell our audience about your background and how you go into doing what you´re doing right now.

Hey whats up readers! I go by Obliviovs, I'm from Los Angeles, CA ! I was first introduced to Electronic music back when I was in High School & was always fascinated by the sounds being used because I never heard anything like it before (but didn't think too much of it at the time) I was more of a metal head, I used to play guitar/drums, use to have a garage band & would jam out with my bros! What really made me switch up my style and get into EDM was when I was first introduced to Big Room (back in 2012-2013) I also started raving and got into local shows- I got hooked and wanted to be up on stage, so I downloaded a cracked version of Ableton (shhh) & after dabbling in that for a few months I decided to go to Musicians Institute in Hollywood. While in music school my passion and creativity stayed towards creating EDM & now fast forward to now I'm highly influenced by artists like 4B, Kayzo, Valentino Khan & Zomboy to name a few.

Please tell our audience what projects have you been working on in the last years?

Right now I've been on the road to finding my own sound, I want my music to be the funnest & craziest sounds that people hear and get to escape too where they too are "Obliviovs" to real life for a bit (if that makes sense) My style switches up from track to track but lately it's been more Trap combined with Hard-Psy. Last year in 2017 I was djing alot more and was a bit of a hermit and spent a lot of time producing getting ready for this year, I actually just released a collab with one of my friends Merc called "Sinister" thats a dubstep/riddim track. My next couple songs will all be originals where I play around with alot of trap, hardpsy, jersey/break beat & dubstep. I dont really limit myself to any specific genre, I just have fun and make what I feel like & know that if I loose my shit to it then other people will too.

What are you currently working on? Do you accept clients and and what kind of projects/work fits your profile?

Currently I'm just focused on producing as much music as possible, collaborating with other artists & perfecting my sound.
