Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I am Oliver Hawls, DJ and producer since I was 15 years old. My style is big room, dark progressive, trap, … I started the music under the name Dj Gata. I had a hard time finding myself suddenly I changed names several times like Vexus, the duo vexus & excode to finish with Oliver Hawls. The name of Oliver Hawls fits me very well and will remain my stage name. For less than a year, my music is signed (by heated records and quartzo records) reaching up to now more than 200 000 views. I'm increasingly singing my style in original orchestral sounds that people do not always hear.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
When I started, I was a fan of dubstep but a little less electro. I still made 1 year to make mixes called "Electro-Dubstep". I even did one of 5 hours! My style has evolved over the years. I did big room like in 2013 but after 2 years I got tired and I wanted to produce the most original big room. Since this day, the labels have started to interest me. Now, I vary more my style all while staying in an orchestral side.
What´s new right now?
I have a music that comes out on February 12 at quartzo records but has already talked about it with reggio, r3spawn and KEVU. There is another one that will be released in 2 months which will be a dark progressive orchestral track. Given the small success of my music, I am also preparing a mini tour for 2019. I do not know where I go yet but I hope to do a tour of Europe.
