Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hi this is Orion and I am from San Diego! I am a 21 year old producer going to school in Seattle at the moment but i am in Seattle and San Diego pretty frequently. I have only produced for around a year and a half now and I have about 6 tracks up on soundcloud so far including 2 originals and I am currently working on an EP that I am looking to release just after new years! How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influence and inspiration comes from a number of artists but in particular I have to mention Flume who is my favorite artist of all time and is the reason I really started getting into music production. Aside from him a lot of elements of my tracks are inspired by other artists that I love like Illenium, San Holo, Kasbo, What So Not and many more. My influence has not had much time to change considering I have only been producing for around a year and a half but I will say that my influence is definitely expanding to other genres too ranging from really mellow stuff to harder stuff like trap.
What´s new right now?
Like I said before, I am currently working on an EP that is actually almost finished and I am super excited about it. It is a collaborative EP that I am working on with my friend {INRVISN} and you can check him out on soundcloud. I am super excited about this because I feel that it is the best quality and most powerful set of tracks that I have produced and I feel that my collaborator and I really mesh well given both of our strengths and weaknesses mesh really well. This EP is emotional and all 4 tracks have their different dynamics but they all fit together really nicely so I am excited to share that with you soon!
