Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hey guys my name is Phil and I'm an open minded, being-on-tour kind of guy from beautiful southern Germany. Music is one on my many hobbies. Please don't ask how exactly I started. I just somehow ran into FL Studio someday and played around with it. The "tracks" which came out there…you don't want to hear them, trust me. But with a bit of experience and the one or other youtube tutorial it starts to finally sound like something. Enough said, take a listen:

Hearable, or what do you think?
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
There are so many influences out there. But since I mainly listen to Deep House, Progressive House and Big Room House those are also my main creations (to come). Regarding Deep House I don't really have favourite artists, also since many of them aren't really that popular. In terms of Progressive and Big Room House there are many that come to my mind: Paris Blohm, StadiumX, Martin Garrix, Jay Hardway, Manse, Olly James, Vicetone etc.
All in all my taste didn't really change. I'm quiete open to all kinds of music, except Dubstep and Rock. Meanwhile I mostly listen to Deep House simply since it's very relaxing.
What´s new right now?
If you produce you'll know it: I have like 15 projects and all of them are partly finished. Breaks missing, drops missing, mixing issues etc. When I have the time to work on them I mainly do a little bit here and a little bit there and eventually they become finished. Right now I finished my first Big Room Track to about 90%. I'd be glad to send you the private preview on Soundcloud if you want to hear it!

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
The problem when you start is that your music mostly just doesn't sound good. Chose the wrong sounds, didn't edit them right and especially didn't mix them properly. That my friends didn't kill me when I sent them early "tracks" is fairly surprising. You want your music to be heared but it's simply not reaching the needed standard in quality terms. Also: Always use reference tracks! Sometimes you're inside your tunnel vision that you don't objectively compare your stuff to others. All this seems unencouraging but trust me: Someday it will pay off!

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
To create a "full-sound", i.e. choosing the right instruments/samples and edit/mix them properly has been the greatest challenge so far. To overcome this I took some infos from youtube tutorials and then started to carefully pick sounds and layer as well as edit them properly. This takes a while but it's super rewarding when you did it!
