Exclusive Interview With Prince Airick

Please introduce yourself real quick...

My name is Prince Airick. I'm a 25 year old House/Hiphop/Ballroom based musician from Norfolk, Virginia currently living in Brooklyn, New York. I got my start in this business with the hit single "Go Awf!" The official video was published through FADER and has received coverage on various mainstream platforms including LogoTV and Afropunk.

What do you do?

I'm currently working on the visual to my second single "ACT-UP" feat. legendary ballroom scene commentator Princess Precious Ebony, transgender social media personality Shauna Brooks, and is produced by Italian DJ Unusual Magic. I'm also doing shows all over the world, and will be going on a European tour this summer. I've worked with Azealia Banks (Music Artist), DJ Asmara, Kevin Prodigy (ballroom scene commentator), Guardate (DJ/Poducer), Mannyo (digital music label), Vjuan Allure (DJ/Producer), Shaun Ross (Model), Buffy Khan (Vogue Dancer). I've performed at The Howard Theatre (DC), Mount Airy Mansion (DC), Club Rage (West Hollywood), Starr Bar (Brooklyn), HOUSE OF YES (Brooklyn), The Lash (LA), Pulse Nightclub, The Knockdown Center (Queens, NY), and Pure Nightclub (DC).

What´s new right now?

I'm about to head to Paris, France for my first international booking at BBB nightclub. I'm working on my debut EP "Diplomatic Duty."
