I am an unsigned musician. I upload music to Soundcloud and YouTube.

How would you describe your style and genre?

My genre is a mix between R&B, Hip-Hop, and rap.

Who are your biggest idols ever? Dead or alive, musician or non-musician.

As far as music goes, definitely Drake and The Weeknd alive, Tupac and Notorious BIG dead.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?

My music was not as original when I first started music as it is now. My number one tip would be to innovate as best as possible. Focus on creating something new.

How do you get gigs? Can you share any tips?

I actually have not landed any gigs yet, so I could use some tips myself (haha).

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?

My biggest challenge right now is getting attention. You could be the best musician in the world, but if no one is listening to your music, it can be discouraging to continue making it. I try to overcome that challenge by reminding myself that I make my music because I love to make music, not to get attention. But getting the attention of Drake and/or The Weeknd would be awesome!

How do you promote yourself? Do you have any specific promotion tips for other musicians?

I promote myself mainly through Facebook and Twitter. I'm actually in need of some other ways to promote my music, so I could use some tips on this also.

We meet again in one year. What has happened?

Haha, I like this question because a lot can happen in one year. A lot has changed for me in the previous year, so I am excited for the future of my music career. Hopefully, in a year I'll have signed to one of my favorite artists!
