Redgame B

Check out and share our Redgame B Interview. This interview is part of our new Producer & Engineer Q&A Series. In this interview series we feature exciting producers, mixing and mastering engineers from all walks of life. As always: Share & Support!

Please introduce yourself real quick. Tell our audience about your background and how you go into doing what you´re doing right now.

Hi I'm Redgame B. I'm an avid music fan turned producer. My parents told me I had a knack for music when I was a kid. I took piano lessons and studied music theory beforehand. I didn't get a musical taste for EDM until about 5 or 6 years ago, and I instantly had my own ideas and wanted to make them. I finally got my first experience making melodies on my ipad. I've been producing for about 3 years since I got my first DAW around Christmas 2014. My favorite genres have changed a lot, but some of my favorites right now are complextro and drumstep.

Please tell our audience what projects have you been working on in the last years?

When I started, I didn't know how to make any FM or RM synths; but I knew how to make melodies and melodic parts. So, house and electro house were my thing, since those were also a few of my favorite genres. Some of it was a little cool and creative, but most of it was pretty mainstream trash. Since learning how to do more and more with bass, I have come around to making and releasing more from bass-centered genres I like, including complextro and drumstep.

What are you currently working on? Do you accept clients and and what kind of projects/work fits your profile?

I'm not currently working on a project, but I've started multiple complextro, dubstep, and dnb tracks. I would also still make a house-y track, since I've always loved house. I do accept clients and have always kept it open for that, it makes me nervous because I would think people would want future bass or trap projects . I haven't really touched on those because they aren't as interesting to me, but I'd definitely be willing to try. I think that by looking on my soundcloud, complextro fits the bill for my style. But my overall opinion would be that quick music with a wide range of synths would describe my hypothetical style.
