Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Ashik Sarkar aka. Rigisk is a 21 years old dance music producer from New Delhi India. Around 2012, Rigisk got influenced by the rising dance music scene and decided to give it a try, since then he never stopped. Rigisk released his debut single 'Chennai' in 2016 on Housepital Records, Netherlands. He mainly produces Progressive / Electro House but time to time he haven't insisted to take a shot on other genre's too. He believes that a music producer should be able to make music of all genre's. His latest PRogressive House remix of 'Wolves' by Marshmello & Selena Gomez is now available on his SoundCloud for Free Download.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
It all started in Hyderabad where Rigisk was pursuing his Bachelor degree in Business Management. Around that time, He discovered some really great electronic music . tracks by the pioneers like Deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Porter Robinson and the mainstream artists like Swedish House Mafia, DJ Snake, Hardwell etc. were the reason he made the decision to start producing music. Earlier in his years he was making a lot of progressive house music and shot was fired in 2016, when his track 'Chennai' was accepted by Housepital Records.
in 2017, Rigisk gone a little versatile with his style and made a Future Bass remix of the classic Linkin Park song 'Leave Out All The Rest'. The Chester Bennington tribute remix received the best responses he has got till the date.
What´s new right now?
the first release of Rigisk in 2018 is here. It's an Bootleg remix of Marshmello & Selena Gomez hit 'Wolves', which is now available on his SoundCloud for Free Download. He admits there are so much more in store for 2018. This year it will all be about versatility as he is intended to release music of genre's like G house, Electro Industrial, Trap etc.
