Read the Seuto Interview below and share it on social media.
Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello, my name is Noah Townsend, and I DJ and produce music under the name Seuto. I'm 17 years old, living in Sweden and trying to constantly improve my sound! I mostly produce Future House and Future Bounce (example here):
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I've been influenced a lot by different artists, such as Avicii. Avicii is the main reason why I started music in the first place. I'm trying to grow away from producing one specific music style, and instead try developing a unique sound that I and others can enjoy. I like to try different genres and different sounds no one's used before.
What´s new right now?
Yes, in fact, I do.
I have a few upcoming releases, including solo tracks and collaborations I'm really excited about. I'm also growing my name as a DJ, by performing as much as I can. I have a few gigs soon, which I'm really excited about.
Nevertheless, I'll keep you all updated on my SoundCloud, Instagram and Facebook pages (link below).
I'm really excited about the future, and can't wait to show you all what I have in stock. ?

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
My personal biggest mistake was looking at tutorials. I know this sounds stupid, but actually trying, and learning from your mistake made me progress more than any tutorial out there. If you really need to check out a tutorial, I'd say don't look at general tutorials such as "how to make a track in 5 minutes", but rather a more specific search, for example, "how to mix a bass".

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
My biggest challenge is overcoming my "perfectionism". I tend to start tracks I feel have potential, but change them and turn the direction completely.
This is something I'm struggling with every day, but after a while, it slowly fades away.

How do you personally discover new music?
I actually ask people around me what type of music they listen to. We all have different taste in genres, styles, and artists. Asking a friend or another producer will help you significantly.

We meet again in one year. What has changed?
Yes, I hope that I feel comfortable enough releasing my music after a year. I'm still at that stage where I make decent music, but not good enough for the public in my eye.
