Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
We, Slykes & Butch, are two artists from Nuremberg (Germany), who play the common path of music as DJ & producer duo which likes the whole EDM scene and due to our past try to combine it with classics from the 90s and charts from today. We love to bring our music and our edits and the story behind it to the people.
We have already played in well-known clubs from the north (Kiel) to the south (Munich) of Germany, for example in the Neuraum Club, at the Winterbeats Festival, which is the largest indoor festival in southern Germany and many more. But we are still nervous before every gig and try to calm down each other every single time. That fact shows that we always want to amaze the crowd and make their and our evening unique.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Musically, we were influenced very early by different Genres from hip hop to rock. The fact that we also produce our own music in addition to the DJing, each set is unmistakable and many songs get put a new stamp on. The Main product of us are Mashups, which we always create for our Yearmixes and Promomixes, own songs and remixes. The reason for that is because we love EDM tracks with hard drops but at the same moment we want the crowd to identify with the song and want them to sing with it. Due to that that we mix a well-known charthit with a banging EDM drop. So the people can sing, identify with it and at the drop totally go crazy. Sometimes we also use 90s tracks to call some nostalgic feelings.
What´s new right now?
Actually we have a lot of new songs that we already made. In January we both met and made a releaseplan for 2018. So be prepared for a lot of new stuff.
This year we get the chance to play, besides Germany, in Austria and France. So we are very excited about it to party with our fans and friends that are based in that countries.
To our fans we just can say thank you for the great last years and thank you for the big support. Due to you we can play at more and more festivals, clubs and the locations get even crazier and more beautiful.
