Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

Im SO$AY. A Beatmaker , Producer, DJ that hails from Santa Cruz California. My sound rooted in the classical elements of hip hop, and try to strike a fine balance between darkly sexy and party time crunk. My sets definitely have a bass heavy vibe with a robust stage presence that really gets the crowd hype. I try to appeal to both a progressive youthful audience and the more matured listener without losing track of my style. I like to call it Hood Bass. Its a blend of Bass Heavy Hip Hop , Halftime Beats , and Trap Tunes . Here is a mix I put out recently that is a good example what a SOSAY set sounds like:

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

My biggest influence was and is Hip Hop . I used to rap and hip hop was my religion . Then I started to notice the decline of hIp Hop from Mc talent perspective . The MC used to be what made the track and now the beat is what drives it . SO I got into producing. Around the that same time Dubstep came into my world and blew my mind and instantly l was hooked on BASS music. Then TRAP came along and it allowed me to blend my two favorite types of music .. And thats what I do now, Blend hip hop and electronic music .

What´s new right now?
