Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Spies. I started music production and mixing at the age of 14-15 years old. My passion in musical production is unique and will never stop. The big influence that pushed me through musical production is probably SeamlessR, which got a great impact on Fruity Loops (FL Studio), the DAW I am using. A lot of videos motivated me to become what I am right now and I want to achieve my dream, to make music and share it to my fans. The artists that motivates me the most are Uber and SVDDEN DEATH, with the powerful riddim style they have. The musical genres I work the most with are dubstep and riddim. My riddim influences are growing everyday, but my dubstep roots will always stay. My last remix, which is a dubstep one, is "Samir" by Spag Heddy. How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
At first, I was really possessed by dubstep. My passion was to become the new Excision, the brand new DJ that will blow minds. After that, seeing the power of the Underground dubstep/riddim scene, I started to become REALLY happy about being an artist with an unique sound design and art. The thing I would like the most is probably to work with artists in the middle like SVDDEN DEATH, Uber, Oolacile and more, to share my music passion to them, to finally create something powerful.
What´s new right now?
For now, I am working on my new "Run" EP, featuring my first track ever called "Run" and the VIP version of it. "Run" reflects mainly my sound design and what I want to produce in the future. I think about four tracks for now, but for sure, "Run" and the VIP version of it are in. I am working on a remix of "Shut Em Down" by SVDDEN DEATH & Yakz, by adding my touch to it. My first EP will be totally for free and will be available on platforms such as Spotify, Soundcloud and Youtube. More stuff to come, stay tuned and keep spying.
