Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Syncopatient and I am an 18 year old electronic music producer from Birmingham, UK. I have been producing for 5 years. What inspired me to produce electronic music was listening to artist such as deadmau5, Skrillex and Calvin Harris. Since then I have released albums on digital stores and I have also been played on BBC Radio twice.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Initially, I was heavily influenced by deadmau5, Skrillex and other artists like that. However, I still consider them to be very influential in my style but I am taking inspiration from artists outside of the genre, such as The Whispers, James Blunt and David Grey. I am currently experimenting with new styles of electronic music and I am looking forward to producing new music in the near future.
What´s new right now?
I am currently working on a new style of electronic music, taking inspiration from funk. I am trying to incorporate live music into my tracks, like playing bass and guitar. I will be releasing samples of my new tracks in the near future.
