My name is Tom Davies, I'm 26 and produce under the alias 'Teeda'. I'm a DJ/Producer from Liverpool and began making music around five years ago.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I've produced under 'Teeda' for almost 12 months now. Before that my productions were slightly more 'house' so I previously made music under a different name. Since the change in direction though I've preferred deeper, dubby grooves, but also some techno and more driving stuff, so I tend to mix and match this in my tracks. My first EP came out last summer; 'Inhibit EP' on New Violence Records in Liverpool, and I've had a second EP on Zinger Records in Russia; both releases quite dark and rolling.

What´s new right now?
Yeah I'm pretty excited about my newest signing, 'The Snatcher' – to German label Baile Musik. This one is home to some of my favourite artists; Proudly People, Archie Hamilton, Aney F, Bunte Bummler and so on. Apart from that I'm just churning out new music each week and learning as I go, finding new music and developing my own ideas and patterns. I've got a pretty good idea of the labels that I'd like to send my latest stuff to though so fingers crossed for lots of new stuff in 2018.
In terms of gigs nothing is set in stone at the moment, but I will be playing my own parties on 2 or 3 occasions over the spring/summer of 2018 around Liverpool. All of my latest and upcoming music is here though for anyone to tune in! x
