Read the TEJØNEZ Interview below and share it on social media.

Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

I am a 16 year old Spain based music producer who makes Future Bass, mainly. But I think I am very versatile because I'm always trying new things, like Progressive House (my last remix of I Still See Your Face is Progressive) or even orchestral music (my Halloween special track, called Lavender).
I don't think I am the best at producing/mixing/mastering, but I've been making music for less more than a year, and I'm working very hard to improve my skills.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

I started making Future Bass, but in a very bad way, so I've always tried to be the most versatile I can. My influences have changed a lot over the time. I mean, I've been producing for only one year, but I started wanting to make music like Martin Garrix, and now I want more to be like Whethan.
Whethan is currently my biggest influence; his style is so good and indie. Actually, I can say my favourite genre is indie, but Future Bass is so close.

What´s new right now?

2017 has been a great year. I haven't released anything very important, in my opinion, and I haven't been very active, but it has served me to take my skills to another level. I am so far from the level I want to reach, but I have improved a lot in comparison to 2016.
Having said that, I am very proud to say that 2018 is going to be bigger than 2017 in terms of music. I have released a remix of I Still See Your Face by San Holo (San Holo himself liked it on Twitter) on January's 1st, and I have released my first collab with Liam C (it has been an amazing experience, and Liam C is an awesome producer) today! Besides, I am planning to release a new collab with Nimesh Tandey (another great 16 year old producer) on January's 26th, and lot more tracks to come this spring!
So yeah, stay tuned if you want to hear what I'm going to release this year, I would appreciate it a lot <3 (Big things are coming)
I usually post some teasers on Instagram:
And my music on SoundCloud:

Happy 2018 to everyone!

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?

My biggest inspiration is Illenium. Then Whethan and Crywolf, and then there are some artists like Xan Griffin, Panda Eyes, Jaymes Young or VÉRITÉ.
I am a superfan of all of them, but I don't remember how I started loving them. I just found them, I listened to one song of them and started following and supporting them.
I think I just feel their music. I don't choose to be a fan of anyone, I just feel his/her music.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?

My biggest mistake was not to support more people. If you want people to listen to your music, you can start supporting them.

What is your best tip for those who struggle with finishing their tracks?

I think the best way to finish tracks is to leave them for a while, so you can have new ideas when getting back to the track.

We meet again in one year. What has changed?

In one year, I will be a better musician, and maybe I would have known great people. Probably I will be releasing more and better music.
