Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello, my name is Paul Daly and I'm Music Producer and DJ originally from the Chicago land area, now in the central Illinois area. I started learning how to produce and Dj my freshman year of college. At first it wasn't really something I was fully invested in, it was more something for me to do for fun when I wasn't studying or playing with my band at the time. Eventually, the band I was in broke up, so I spent a lot more of my time focusing on electronic music. I started Djing and got involved in a student organization called VibeTribe, which got me my first set of shows, opening for Dr.Fresch at their Fall Showcase and QUIX at their Silent Disco. Since then I've been really active in playing and helping plan shows for VibeTribe and have been working hard on making new music!
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
When I first started Producing I listened to a lot more Future Bass and Trap music. Since then I've continued to listen to artists from both genres, however I've had a main focus on Dubstep and other forms of Bass Music. More specifically, artists like Dubloadz, Fox Stevenson, Kai Wachi, Space Jesus, G Jones, Esseks, Somnium Sound, and a lot more.
What´s new right now?
Currently I'm helping plan Vibtribe's 2018 Silent Disco, which should be pretty crazy. other than that any other shows or upcoming events can be found on my Facebook page!
