Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
The Mile High Sound Movement (MHSM) is an artist collective and record label based in Denver, Colorado. Having started nearly a decade ago, the MHSM brand has grown from a crew of musicians supporting each other, to expanding into a record label, management/booking, marketing, blog & more in an effort to help our artists in every avenue of the music industry as possible. Founded by ProJect Aspect and Kruza Kid, and soon after joined Unlimited Gravity, these 3 artists became the back-bone of MHSM which has grown to over 20+ musicians and friends within the collective.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years? Do you feel that changing tastes over years as artistic growth? ?
As a young and growing record label, we are in our 3rd year which has by far been our best yet. Ever since we began defining our brand as a record label, we began seeing a ton of submissions coming in, even though we never stated we were accepting any. We see our collective and brand as a family of friends who support each other. So when it comes to adding new artists, there needs to be a more personal connection if we are going to support the artist under our collective, brand and label.
