Label profile: The Nashville House Syndicate

Check out and share our The Nashville House Syndicate Interview. This interview is part of our new Labels in the Spotlight Series. In this interview series we feature exciting labels from all over the world. As always: Share & Support!

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your label. Where are you based, what genres & styles do you cover… And when/how how did it all start?

The Nashville House Syndicate, is the creation of good friends Daniel Fornica (4niq) and Enrique Ferrer, being the first a globetrotter Dj and producer for over a 15 years which have experience the evolution of the genre in different locations.

The minds alike meet in the Audio School at Middle Tennessee State University. Having both love and passion, for creation and innovation, of cutting edge electronic music with unique and rare gems.

in Sep 16 Daniel F, asked Enrique Ferrer a graduate of the MRAT program to became the Mastering Eng. of the label. The rest is history and the “Syndicate” how they called was created.

Fornica: “At the beginning it was hard to find an starting point specially in a city like Nashville where broadway country music scene rule the industry and just a few spot support the scene” . Daniel already had some names in mind since is a deep diger and researcher amount the “night spheres” Ferrer states. But one connection led to another and now the syndicate hold four albums at their repertoire with talented and very different artists.

For us is always an enrichment experience get to know the artist, look what they being producing outside the syndicate, like kevin kendall a mastered drummer that started experimenting with deep and other cool sounds with the house and techno spectrum being his main realm or Gabram Vitek aka Yabe which is a phenomenal singer and multi musician performer with his own band project call kink. Furthermore Eric Evido palmieri which has being a promoter into the local scene for the last years being a good connoisseur of the environment and the vibe of the town taking all that into really grooving G house tracks,
lastly the ultimate incorporation of John Hanna Aka Subrinse which is now based on East Nashville and has his own project called Altru creative a media agency that manages, engineers and display total talent inside electronic and out .

All of then are unique and they’ll make a popurri that reflects the diversity of the label.
“The Syndicate is more than a label” we encourage and support each other eating an splendid and magnificent atpmosphere to be creative and make quality house and techno music”, Fornica implies.

Creatively we do not corner our artists at the other hand we encourage to show their true selves on their productions and we think thats key if you want to come out with a sound that is unique and don’t want to copy any other city or label.

Each city has its own identity, and Nashville is not the exception the city is well know to have a up growing migration of other musical influences from other latitudes of the of the country making this an interesting time to make house and techno for a curious and supportive audience.

What are some releases our audience simply must check out? (Either new stuff or evergreen classics)

The Nashville house Sounds vol 1. being this the starter and fundamental ep with Evido, 4niq and Kendall
New Horizon which was an experiment between Kendall and 4niq
Memories from tomorrow an approach for laid back and mindful sounds which included Yabe (Gabram viket into the imprint)
The search ( The last Ep with the inclusion of Subrinse, and being this by fornica perspective a really clubby ep)

Another thing we tried to promote along our releases art marketing etc , is the promotion of real values like trust, respect, balance, bounds, kindness and a great spirit to creating and sharing among its crew.
thats something unique an beautiful that makes a house and techno tracks maker to have a balance in the distorted electronic music industry.

Are you looking for new artists to sign or collaboration partners? (Be it media partners, remix competitions or otherwise?)
