Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello, My name is Tom Clarke and i’m a Birmingham (England) based producer and DJ.
My sound is characterized by a mix of Bass House & Deep House feel with every shape of House music.
I was born in 1997, in stafford (England)
In 2013 I finished high school and started working full time, along side that I started messing around with fl studio and found myself luckily meeting some very talent djs and producer witch helped me take my first step into the music industry
For the djing side, i always loved club vibes and music and so i grew up cultivating this passion, My father and brother were both djs so when I was 14 I brought my first dj controller and I’ve been building my skills ever since, I currently hold no recidencys due to my break with having my daughter but I’m soon to be emerging myself back into the music industry
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I was initially
influenced by my grand mother, a
Care worker with a strong passion
for Motown and R&B, in listening especially
Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston
and Lionel Richie among others.
During the age of 4-14, I got closer to 90s music inspired by my mother,
listening to some of the
greatest pop stars of those
years, but also to the American Hip- Hop/Rap music. Growing up, I started to listen to
electonic music (artists like Daft Punk and Justice) and progressive house (Hardwell,
Swedish House Mafia, Aviicii).
But then as I got older I moved onto the club scene where I was introduced to a more bass house deep house and commercial house feel, ever since then it’s been my love and passion.
What´s new right now?
I’ve just started working with s couple more talented producers P.O.V and Terry Furlong so you can keep your eyes peeled for that, I’ve just come back from my break so filling those dates up in the diary with gigs, I do still have spaces available for any enquiries you can email me on tomclarkedj@outlook.com
