My name is Tommy Brooks, co-founder of Shade King and Hip Hop All Around, a Top 100 hip hop blog site according to Ranker.
I've been in the music and entertainment industry over 15 years and have worked as Artist Developer, Management, Publicist, Brand Strategist and Digital Marketing expert. I've built multiple platforms reaching over 500 millions people on social media since 2015.
What kind of stuff do you cover mostly? And how do you typically discover and decide WHAT to cover?
Shade King is very popular on Instagram with over 300,000 followers known for celebrity gossip, entertainment news, funny memes, clap back, hot new music, urban events and more.
I stay up all night researching content to share with my business partner who overseas the IG account. I also check my email for new content being that our supporters personally likes to submit videos of their own.
I'm not just going to post anything or deal with anyone. I look at what's trending or what I feel could peak the interest of our followers.
