Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Ricky, I am a 24 year old producer, dj and rapper from Denmark. I've been producing electronic music for almost 8 years and I've been rapping for almost 3 years. My artist name is TONIN, which comes from serotonin. I mostly produce trap bangers but I also love making beats and a lot of other genres like Dubstep, Breakcore, Ambient and Hiphop.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I used to be influenced a lot by old Rusko and Skream tracks. Old school Dubstep is what got me into electronic music. Later I started listening to a lot of breakcore, especially Venetian Snares. Today I'm mostly influenced by producers like Snavs, Krane, Andrew luce, Far&Few and Sumthin Sumthin, but lately I've been really inspired and influenced by the danish producers Datamatros and Rumpistol.
What´s new right now?
I just finished my first ep as TONIN and I'm also working on some small single releases and a rap/hiphop ep. I've become really picky with what I release the last couple of years, so if you want to listen to what I'm working on you should check out my other accounts.

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?
I think I'm a superfan of a lot of people actually, often it's because I admire them and they also inspire me. When that happens I just cant get enough.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
Not learning music theory. Music theory has helped me progress a lot the last couple of years.

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
Getting better and keep progressing. A lot of times I felt like I didn't progress and learn new stuff, when that happens I usually take a break.
