Hi! This is Emily from TRVCK TEVM. We are an electronic music duo based out of North Carolina.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
As a teenager I was really into the NC metal scene. It was amazing around 2005-2007 when I really started to get into music and making music. I was in a high school punk band. And spent my weekends going to shows. Late high school/early college I was starting to get into electronic music like Pretty Lights and Datsik. I loved DUBSTEP when I first heard Rusko and Caspa I knew I had to start making music like them! I didn’t really find my groove until getting really into hybrid hip hip beats aka Trap. But my roots lie with the likes of Deadmau5 and Diplo. It all kinda just grew from there.
What´s new right now?
We are working on an EP. We just finished up a Flip of Post Malone’s – Candy Paint. Got a few other remixes we gotta finilalize.

Soundcloud is a great way to find new music. It’s easy to get on a tangent and find some really interesting things.
