Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Techno producer & CEO BUNK3R R3CORDS, SUB Records, Bass Tune Records
Grew up under the musical influences of my father who was, for more then 20 years, resident dj in one of the first danceclubs in my area in the 70ties & 80ties, i witnessed the birth of electronic dance music as my father played the newest white label import records.
Going out in legendary house clubs like Barocci, Boccaccio, Globe, La Rocca, Cherrymoon and Balmoral, i experienced the evolution of house and techno music trough the years. After organizing parties with my Twisted Concept Events i decided to create my own tracks using the background of his clublife. The result is a variation of Techno styles that will please everybody…
With a style that has evolved to a more Deep Tech & Techno sound i got the support from more and more Techno Underground producers/deejays from Germany, Great-Brittan, Austria, France, Italy, Ireland…
Supported by Fnoob Techno Radio, Tosi, Mark Antonio, Alen Milivojevic, Spartaque, GabeeN, A-Brothers, Michael Schwarz, Stacey Pullen, Dave Angel, Joseph Capriati, Klaudia Gawlas, Andres Gil, Tex-Rec, Submerge, Ryuji Takeuchi, Flex, Gabeen, Brian Burger, Mintech, Mark Morris, De Hessejung, Frank Savio, Marco Asoleda, Daegon, Luke Creed, Massimo, Hefty, Albert Kraner, Stephan Koenigk, Vincenn, Tim Marwijk, Peat Noise, Primal Beat, Steyrerblut, DL-E, Formula G, Point Zero, Hefty, Bjorn Torwellen, Ortin Cam, A.Paul, Spark Taberner, R.Cooper and many more…
Then i got the opportunity to join a Belgian label group and begin my own Techno label, BUNK3R R3CORDS to give new talent a platform to release their tracks in order to help them get more attention and be able to grow and release on more established Techno labels. Now, after 5 years, i run 3 Techno labels.
BUNK3R R3CORDS (Belgium), Bass Tune Records (Portugal) & SUB Records (Berlin, Germany) which releases Techno from over 100 international artists.
Every month i have a 1 hour Showcase on Fnoob Techno Radio where i present the mixing skills of my artists.
After 20 years i've started playing again and am available for bookings.

How would you describe your style and genre?
Techno in all his flavours and styles
Who are your biggest idols ever? Dead or alive, musician or non-musician.
Arnold Schwarzenegger for what he achieved in sports and movies.
Len Faki for his ability to get every crowd moving.
My wife, Nadja for putting up with all the time i spend with music related things
and every person that i helped become a better artist.
What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
The only thing i regret is starting making music when i was 35+
Would have started 15 years earlier.
The best tip i can give, is to stay true to yourself, be humble, thankful and always remember where you came from.
How do you get gigs? Can you share any tips?
These days my bookings agency Connected Booking handles that but radio exposure is a good start to get noticed in order to get bookings.
What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
Earn the respect and trust of my artists.
Only by being honest and loyal it's possible to have a good connection with your artists.
How do you promote yourself? Do you have any specific promotion tips for other musicians?
The best promotion is to use all social media related sites like Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, Mixcloud even Instagram.
Keep your messages fresh and interesting so people will have a reason to follow you.
We meet again in one year. What has happened?
Hopefully the 3 labels are still running smooth and my new Techno party concept called Re-enter that i start in Belgium this summer will be a succes.
