Sup , My Name Is VINCI . Im 19 & I Was Born And Raised In A Small City Called Danville In Virginia . Ive Been Making Music Since I Was About 13 . I Rap About Specific Things Not Just About Anything . Usually What I've Been Through & How It Could Help Inspire The Younger & Older Folks Who's Also Been Through Similar Situations . Sometimes I like Too Just Have A Lil Fun While Making Music So Making Something Thats Ear Pleasing and not too serious comes around at times . But yeah Where I'm from There's Not Many People Who Make It In The Industry Or Even Close . Guess I'll Give It A Shot Of My Own
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Actually Yeah My Taste In Music Did Change Over Time . One Of My Biggest Influences Growing Up Had Too Be Wiz Khalifa . I Was So Wrapped Around His Style And Vibes He Gave Off With His Older Tunes From Kush & Oj , & Rolling Papers . Over The Years as He Became A More Successful Artist , His Music Has Gotten A Little Less One Of A Kind … Another Influence Who Had A Huge Impact On How I Carried Myself And My State Of Mind Would Have Too Be Capital STEEZ . The message he was delivering in his music was A Masterpiece (Rip Capital STEEZ) . Along with STEEZ was a group of Artist called "The Underachievers" Who Had Really Really Opened My Mind Too An Extent . They'd Have Too Be My Number 1 Influence Till I Was About 16 . I Would Say The Underachievers Hadn't Changed At All And Keeps Bringing Quality Tunes As They Grow . They're The Main Ones Who Really Invited My Consciousness To Progress As Whole . Switched My Whole Taste In Music Around As I Grew Up Listening Too Them .
