Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Wooshay is a sound developed by two people from the Bay Area. We apply an ethnic twist to our electronic songs and work with different types of songwriters to create songs in different music genres. We have played at shows opening for big artists like Nelly and put on big sets at festivals like Nocturnal Wonderland but eventually decided to focus on our production. We released our first EP the summer of 2017. How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Our original influences were guys like Afrojack, Tiesto, & Avicii. Over the years we've moved more into a DJ Snake style of music (not the crazy dubstep sets) but the kind of songs he produces.
What´s new right now?
We have a good amount of releases coming this year but for now, our latest track Alone is the track to listen to from us. It has reached 60,000 plays on Spotify and over 40,000 plays on Soundcloud. Alone has made it on MTV Dance Hits and on some big Spotify playlists like R3hab's Night!

Do whatever you want, everything is just noise, but always listen, you might miss something.

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
Growing on social media (youtube included) We have had successful releases. Songs that have reached 300k on Spotify and 200k on Soundcloud as well as our latest that has received over 100k overall but we just haven't been able to translate it to shows or social media followers. We've created music videos and done whatever to keep the image of a professional page but it hasn't helped.
