Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello, I am Wynax!
I am a producer out of the neighborhoods of metro Detroit, I make a wide variety of edm. The genres I am known for making are future bass, progressive house, hard house and a little bit of future bounce. I am currently 18 years old going into my first year in college, and I will still be releasing regularly in college so no worries. If you do not listen to me or know about me, I release a song about every 4-5 weeks. I love electronic music and I have been producing electronic music since i was 12. Yes the music I was making when I was 12 was extremely bad, but I still loved it.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years? Do you feel that changing tastes over years as artistic growth? ?
I did not get into listening to electronic music until i was about 11 or 12 but before that I was listening to music a lot. My dad showed me “Graduation” by Kanye West when the album just came out and I loved the album. Also I listen to a lot of Fall Out Boy when I was younger. MTV was always on in my house when they used to play music. But once I was 11, I stumbled onto Daft Punk after I saw the Tron movie that they were featured in. I fell in love with the music that Daft Punk made, and I would always be listening to it. I remember my brother making fun of me for listening to them. Soon after that I found the label Monstercat right around the time that it was created. I would always listen to Tristam, Arion, and Stephen Walking and that is when I realized I wanted to get into producing music and get onto Monstercat. As the years went on I got into more mainstage house like Hardwell, Kaskade, Afrojack, and Tiesto. I always listened to the music that was released on Spinnin Records. Now I am into more of a future bass scene, I found K?D when he had like 2,000 followers on soundcloud now he has blown up! I am listening to a lot of flume right now and Jai Wolf. I highly suggest on Fridays, go onto spotify and go to the “New Releases” to find new music.
What´s new right now?
I have just released a new song with Rocketboy called “Paper Princess” on soundcloud. Paper Princess is a future bass track and I think that it is my best song I have ever released. The cover art is incredible and I am very lucky that I know a guy that talented to make me cover arts. If anyone wants to talk to me just go to my twitter, I leave my DMs open so anyone can talk to me.
