Hey there!

First things first, just wanna give a HUGE thank you to everyone at Traxx24, as well as to the awesome person who nominated me. Appreciate y'all and all that you do

I'm Z.T, hailing from the Northern Virginia area of the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia). I double time as the 'Kale Gawd', as well as the frontman of 'Where's Zach?' Both personas come with their own sets of abilities, and responsibilities.

As the Kale Gawd, my mission is to promote good health and well-being as best I can by harnessing the unbelievable power of kale and channel it through the music I create. I love doing quirky photoshoots in off-kilter places with a handful of kale (see the photos above), because it allows me to provide that outlet to kinda showcase my personality: a very positive, hard-working, and fun-loving young man. Girls think I'm pretty weird, but that comes with the job :). If your first introduction to me is via my IG timeline, or even a meeting in person, you'd probably be a bit surprised after hearing my music, which is often dark and very serious. I take a lot of pride in my content, and have spent a lot of time, effort, and money in order to make sure each track I release is of the utmost quality. I started rapping when I was 16, and I'm 23 now, so my approach to lyrics and songwriting at this point is somewhat intuitive. There is still much I need to learn, however. I still don't have the best grasp of rhythm, and I've been working pretty hard on vocal pipes so that I can sing my own hooks & background vocals. I've even started playing piano. If you listen to my upcoming EP, you'll hear plenty of that ;).

As for the other hat that I wear, 'Where's Zach?' is a fearsome rock foursome formed last year. We are four friends intimately connected through childhood, tasked with the almost overwhelming task of finding a missing man named 'Zach.' The story started when last December; we were jamming in our drummer Gavin's basement, likely annoying his family, when we saw a CD in the corner of the room (they still make those, believe it or not). The disk contained only six-words: "Help me, I'm lost; sincerely, Zach." That was the day we become 'Where's Zach?', and since then we have been ceaselessly searching for our lost friend, unfortunately to no avail as of yet. Our live performances are very strategic, as we schedule our venues in accordance with information we've received about Zach's whereabouts. So for example, if we were to perform at Coachella (one day…), we will have heard from a source that Zach may be at Coachella at the time of the show. So far, we have performed five different venues, and have not spotted our lost friend yet. But we will, one day…

What do you do?

Currently, my main focus project-wise is my debut EP. It will be called 'Everything but the Kitchen Sinks,' and will feature live cuts, as well as traditional rap over digitally produced beats. I'm super excited for this because not only will be my first ever solo project, but it will also be a concept record. I've been doing a bunch of research for it over the past couple months, and have been hammering out the story as I go. It will feature a lot of Eastern European dark & EDM trap production (beats from Chiveer, Padillion), and I believe the project will lend itself nicely to the visual space as well in the form of videos, still shots, and more. I'm hella excited!

What´s new right now?

Right now, 'Where's Zach?' has another gig! We'll be at American Legion in Hopewell, Virginia, just outside of Richmond. It'll be an all-day benefit show, so to whomever may live somewhere in proximity and has some free time, come on out and enjoy a great day for a good cause! We have a 40 minute set(!), so we really are gonna have to be on our P's & Q's and have a great show, but this a crazy awesome chance to really showcase what we're all about, and finally find Zach!
