Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Zach Krause and I am an R&B artist from Kelso Wa. I started getting serious about music in 2015 and from then on I had fell in love with the way music made me feel, and the way it helped my fans. I recently have been trying to push the boundaries of “sound” in my music. I’m working on my first EP titled “7th Ave”. The tape is based upon observations of the world and is the street I am currently living on. I just recently released my first single for it called “New Drug” https://soundcloud.com/krauseatese/new-drug-final-netuhkiller
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
When I was younger my influences ranged from “Elvis” to “Ozzy Osbourne” and to R&B soul such as “Tracey Chapman” and “Marvin Gaye”. As time went on I really enjoyed the sound that Godsmack had for rock. It was like my meditation music. I didn’t get into hip-hop till I was around 15-16. I thought that Waka Flocka Flame and T.I. at the time had a unique and influential sound. I also was heavily influenced by Tech n9ne and OutKast. I just love so many different styles of music it’s hard to pin point one influence over my life time.
What´s new right now?
As for right now I have been doing small shows practicing and hoaning my craft. I want my fans to ultimately get a sense of who they are when listening to my music. I want my fans to know I have just began and that everyday I get inspired by new things that help me grow and progress not only as a human but as an artist.
