The guys from Dubspot bring you a sneak peek at Native Instruments’ newest software synthesizer, Monark: a re-creation of classic analog monosynths like the iconic Minimoog Model D. It´s a mini moog clone but before you say “been there done that” do check out the sounds because in my humble opinion the guys at NI did manage to outdo the competition once again.
Here´s some testimonials for those still in doubt:
“Monark has a lot more detail in the spectrum compared to other virtual instruments. I’ve found some prismatic sounds experimenting with changing the parameters.” Jimmy Edgar
“Monark has a fantastic bottom end, amazing clarity, and a hi definition sound which is very rare in soft synths.” Bernard Sumner (New Order)
“Huge, punchy, fat sound and light on your CPU. We had no idea you could still get anything this good.”Modeselektor
“There’ve been a number of Moog-like softsynths but Monark makes you wonder how any of those ever worked for you.” Apparat
