Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

Hi
My story is simple. At the age of 6 I entered the orchestra of folk instruments. I played the balalaika. My parents had many friends of real musicians. guitar, piano, accordion …
When I was 10 years old my parents brought me on birthday of thier friends. There were two children and they studied at a music school. Piano and cello. They played a duet of several pieces of music. It was very beautiful.
I asked my parents and they took me to a music school. I began to play the piano. At the age of 13 I first tried acoustic and electro guitar. In 15 years with friends we have created a group. We played Brit-rock and disco (heavy, thick, almost pop-rock, but fast) for a whole year we rehearsed, played home concerts, but … such music in the late 70's, in the USSR was not needed by anyone. In our city for sure.
In parallel, I started DJing.
In 1981 I entered the university to study English and German. I had to become either an interpreter or a teacher. I played the guitar, DJ.
After graduating from university, I stopped studying music. But I listened to a lot of different music: from classics to rock and pop.
In 1992, I performed my last DJ set. And stopped …

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

In 2015, a great event happened that turned my whole life around. May 11, 2015 our children gave us a great holiday – the anniversary of our life together with my wife. – 30 years. At the festival, a group of pro-dancers danced. Young guys. I told them: "if you started dancing, then you have to do this all your life." And suddenly I realized that I was lying. I myself threw the music. It was very sad and offensive.

What´s new right now?

Now I'm only doing music. I have a simple, home studio. And I'm learning, trying to do. I am 54 years old today. But … I'm studying music theory, harmony, orchestration, arrangement and … trying to make different tracks, different styles. I study and train. I switched to Apple, I have iMac with 12 GB of RAM. I uploaded Ableton Live and mastered it. While all I do it alone. I really want to play sets, tracks in clubs and open-air. I want to play a mixture of trance, techno, house and … blues. This is my task.
Yes, my age sometimes causes laughter among listeners. Sometimes it's insulting, but … there is a goal, there are tasks and … the most important thing is a great desire to make music, good music. And… ocean of joy and pleasure especially when the music comes out
