Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

I'm Giorgio, a 21 yo italian producer!
I have always been fascinated by the world of music, since I was 9 years old I attended courses in singing, piano and solfeggio, courses that I left after a few years because of the lack of interest.
I started to approach the world of electronic music at the age of 15 initially as a DJ and later as a producer.
I achieved good results as a DJ playing in many clubs and clubs in Bergamo for various formats (including Setai Club), alongside also the world famous DJs like Sander Van Doorn, Quintino, AK9 and Ummet Ozcan, finally this year I had the pleasure to play in front of more than 7,000 people at a local festival (Outro festival); as a producer I changed many names, projects and musical genres many times. I won a couple of competitions on Wavo.me (one of them of Ultra Muisc), I released with the name CacTuZ on some Italian labels and as many foreign ones getting good feedbacks and support from important artists like Ephwurd, Choppa Dunks, Trilogee, Ghastly and others yet.

In the meantime I opened a group of Italian artists called Sleepies Collective, which is had as many good results but now for personal reasons is freezes, and will re open as soon as possible.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

As I said before I changed my artist name, projects and musical genres many times. With my latest project, by the name of HAZREV, I produced Bass Houses and similar genres, very often characterized by gloomy melodies. From the beginning of 2017 I decided to change, become optimistic and then I threw myself on Future Bass and Chill mostly experimental: between swing, vocal years '70 and '80, a mix of many different genres I wanted to make Future Bass really "future". This past year to experiment the strangest production techniques alongside elements that no one had ever thought of doing (or at least as I did) I really needed a lot. I realized that while still beautiful to produce and listen to Future Bass, Chill and Trap are not my main genres. Despite being very close to my productions, to the people with whom I collaborated and to the "• Mo0D °" that was created, I decided to come back from the old Bass House that I had abandoned some time before.

There are many artists and labels that have given me inspiration and reason to spereimentare and produce. Among the most important Ephwurd, Choppa Dunks, Trilogee, Ghastly, who gave me their direct support, Mura Masa, Point Point, Night Owl Collective, X & G, Jevi, LimRinse, Kai Wachi, max fry, spirited., Future Cult Collective, with the homies TooHundred, b r a z x., Efímero, going on with JKuch, why you delete?, Inadze, SLEEPYCAT and more.. And these are just only for the 1st period of my career.

Than we have surely CONFESSION, Night Bass, PINAPPLE COLLECTIVE, Volac, Damien N-Drix, Syskey, Cazztek, ANGELZ, JOYRYDE, MALAA, Tchami, ZHU, Matroda, Skitzofrenik, Jeff Doubleu, Nitti Gritti, Adair, Panthaa, Basstrick, Noizu, Valy Mo, Jace Mek, ASDEK, Loge21, and some Italian guys, the most important support I got: Lozz, SLVR, Vush, Eater, Tears, Red Hands on Walls, thisthis, Legit, Kaede, Chaddo, Cioso, nextars, Nieh, Cioso and many more.. (I could go on forever)

What´s new right now?

I got everything new. I'm thinking to restyle the whole profile, just to change the "colorful" profile I make with something "GL0omy", something that could reflect what I am, and what I'm doing right now.
In these three questions I put so much clues for my future plans, so I'll just say something to people are following me.

For people who loves Future Bass and happy tunes: don't worry, I got so many tracks that I'll continue publish on the profile, I really care about the project and I would never want it to be lost.

For people who loves Bass House: I could prepare a whole album, but I just release one single at a time, just to let you taste better!

For people who loves good music: as I said you before my "Sleepies Collective" is now freezes, but who knows, maybe I could re open it right now! If you produce music and you want to help us grow all together sed your tracks to demo.sleepiesquad@gmail.com, we would be happy to hear them and answer you.

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?

I think in production world there is no "one trick to improve yourself", but there are one thousand! First of all you must know what are you doing. You can't open Xfer Serum, set a preset from "HUGE&PERFECT SOUNDS PACK" and change few values whiteout knowing what are you doing, it's dangerous. You can saturate your sound, decrease the dynamic range of your track or worse still spread the whole track. In production you must know what are you doing.

What is your best tip for those who struggle with finishing their tracks?

Send the demo and ask for feedback if you are not able to finish it, maybe search for a collaboration. Two minds are better than one, and you can also understand how other producer approach the production and most of the time you learn from them!
