Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hey guys my name is D.ASCO and music has been a huge part of my life for years now. I was born and raised in Philadephia and at the age of 17 I decided to move to the beautiful city of Miami. In Miami My friend once brought over a mixer and since that they its been full throttle for me. I started playing small shows in Fort Lauderdale and eventually made my way into the Miami music seen. Ive played support for many artists including Rl Grime, Dubloadz, Phaseone, Zomboy, Trollphace, Jauz, Gentlemens Club, and many more. As i was in the mix for many shows i was always at home working on perfecting my craft. Ive made over 20 full complete tracks and i can say im very satisfied with the turn out on each one. With each track i have made I have learned so much . Ive produced all kinds of genres but i mainly have stuck with dubstep, hybrid trap and future bass.
The track that i made that marks the begining of a new era for my music career would have to be my song “It Starts Now”

After that i started having the erge to make music with other artists . I reached out to a group of kids by the name of Drunk Nixon out of Los Angelas. Together we made “SLUDGEPOUND”

As i said before i do produce more melodic future bass music. By far my favorite track that i made melodic wise would have to be the remix of Chelsea Cutlers Giving Up Ground. I put my whole heart in this one and its my go to track if i am ever feeling down or unfocused .

With all that being said music is my life , my journey is only just begining and i couldnt be more excited to share my music with you all.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
There are many artists that influence my music but if i had to pick one artist that influences me the most it would have to be Virtual Riot. Vr has to have the most amazing music i have ever heard . His abilities to make grimey music on top of making some of the most beautiful melodys is something special. I strive to have to humbleness and productivity that he as an artist has .
Another guy that has influenced me alot from the begining is Kai Wachi. Kai’s music has been so influencial in my upcoming as an artist. People like him show me that you can overcome any obstical to get to where you want to be .
Through the years my musical taste has changed in the sense of me finding new artists everyday. I am constantly on soundcloud just searching for the next sound. The best thing about music is it is always changing. You have these kids that are reshaping the future of music and i couldnt be more excited for whats to come.
What´s new right now?
Right now i have a song that i am about to release on February 8th. February 8th is also the day of my own show that i will be throwing in Fort Lauderdale . This song is to this day my favorite track that ive made. Its a remix of a very old influence in myusical life “Evenesance”. I was born in the early 90’s and rock music is what i first truely started to love . Recently i thought back to that time and i couldnt help but take Evenesance’s song and put my own creative twist on it .
As far as the show, i have been throwing shows once every other month for almost a year now . For these shows i focus on bringing out the most fierce, talented, hungry locals in all of south florida. I do it for the music and these kids fuel my drive more than you could ever know .
If your in South Florida and have nothing to do February 8th please come out to Grime Time Live and lets share our love for music together !
