Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello my names daniel Williams aka Denzil I’m a producer from a small city called derby in the uk I started producing around 15 on and off for while I also had a Yamaha djx keyboard what I used to play all the time. I wounded how I could get my melodies to be recorded it was then I found ableton!. It took me a long time to figure out how to use the software because of course this was just before tutorials were even a thing once I got the hang of things I started to become obsessed with sound design and sound selection. At around 18 years old i thought about taking it seriously I would stay awake till 7am sleep all day awake all night. Things have changed since then though I had a dream and I still do I have a good talent but it’s very hard to get in the music industry I’m now 26 and my dream is getting further and further but I will never give up. I have a few great tracks that made it to bbc introducing and a lot of support from people on the web. I would love to show you the listener more of what I can do.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My taste have always varied but it’s always been edm based so house, happy hardcore, drum and bass. Dubstep you name it if it’s electronic I’ve had a go at producing it. This is why maybe there’s a lot of crossbreed music nowadays and that’s great because it’s all about experimenting.
What´s new right now?
I have a couple of great tracks that are in the making and 3 releases 2 of what have been played on the radio at bbc introducing. I don’t tend to have a lot of released music due to only being able to mix on headphones and just my laptop so a lot of my best ideas can come out sounding a little dull.
