Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello I'm dj chaskan, I'm from Spain, and I live in Barcelona, my career as a DJ started in 1989. I started mixing with vinyl, the styles that I mixed at that time was acid, house, goa, trance, psycotrance, electronic etc .. at that time there were not as many styles as today, In 1994 I started mixing at private parties, local, afters.As time went by, I began to experience, with new dj equipment, new sounds, new styles musicals such as techno, dark techno, techno house.
I like to mix any style, but my favorite is techno, and dark techno. I would like to one day be able to dedicate myself professionally as a DJ, I have my own style, I like to be creative, put my touch of magic in my mixes. to make dance and transmit my music to people with my sessions, would be the most important thing for me.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I listened to a lot of electronic music from the 80s, for example depche mode, the prodigy, I still listen to music from the 80s, that was what influenced me. As the time has changed, the music industry has also changed, before there were not as many styles as there are now, new composers, artists, different styles, different teams, as time has gradually passed by I have been doing With my own style, I like to experience new sounds, and to learn about new technologies. I am also composing music, and the most important thing is to have a lot of love and feeling for music.
What´s new right now?
I am currently doing sessions in different radio channels, I also expose my sessions in different platforms, I am composing a new track of techno soon I will release it for sale.
