Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

It’s Donna-Maria here!

Originally graduated at the Academy of Contemporary Music with Vocals and Songwriting and I am happy to say that my current career state is exactly with what I graduated with! I am a Singer-Songwriter and I mostly perform Pop/Funk/Soul original tracks under the artist name “Donna-Maria”.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

Influences… they are numerous!

I grew up with various genres starting from Rock to Jazz and actually I studied quite a lot of the Classical side in music. For me my influences change constantly but my one and only, I would say “Nikki Yanofsky”, “Michael Buble” and even “Marian Hill” – all quite different from each other.

What´s new right now?

I recently recorded a very cool project with the super talented Italian producer called Emax and the project is called “Word of Chain”. Speaking of Gigs!!! You should come and see me perform at Abbotshill WInebar on the 30th of January followed by Spice of Life on the 19th of February.
