Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

Hi!
My name is Dave Bruinsma a.k.a: DYDRM. I am a DJ and Producer from Amersfoort, The Netherlands. I started DJ'ing at the age of 12, ofcourse at the time i wasn't skilled at all and i was just fooling around. By the time i turned 15 i bought the program FL studio and started to mess around with that, also not knowing what i was doing. I made a few tracks that were really bad, but over the time it started to sound better, because i was learning how the software worked.
When i graduated middle school i got a big pioneer dj set as a present, and i made it my goal to learn how to perform and make music. I started following guitar lessons, and doing research on how music is put together, how it was made, and what it means. My tracks started to sound better and better and in march 2017 i released my first single called Tomorrow on iTunes Spotify and other streaming services. Around that time i started doing small shows in clubs and house parties, sometimes even for free because i had to make a reputation for myself.
It's now almost a year later and a few months ago i released my debut EP called The Flow, and i am doing regular shows in clubs and parties. I love working with talented producers and vocalists, and i am always open for collaborations.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

At first i was really into house, and some underground labels like Barong family. So my examples were Moksi, Dirtcaps and people like Oliver heldens.
A few years later i was a really big fan of trap and future bass, with examples like San holo, Cesqeaux and Flume.
Now im mostly into sound design and different genres, so i'm following guys like Dillon Francis, A-Track, Don Diablo and TroyBoi.
So it changed very much over the years, i kept listening and appreciating more genres. I think as a dj you should be open to all genres.

What´s new right now?

A few months ago i released my first EP: The Flow, with my biggest track yet: Moonlight.
Now i am working very hard on some new singles, finding sounds that i like, exploring new genres and getting new gigs.
Together with Lou (known from the track 12 O'Clock) i am working on a hip-hop / trap song that will be released in a couple of months.
