Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Im Guy Hôrn, a 15 years old DJ, Producer and Music Artist from Berlin. I do EDM, future Bass and Rap music. I’ve started doing music since I was 11 and I take many inspiration from Asia and it’s culture. My so far best tracks are „Forever and Ever“ and „Tokyo“ and I’ll be dropping a new beat with the rapper called OTS Zero very soon. Here’s a link to my soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/g-horn
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Well I got hooked into EDM after I’ve listened to „Wizard“ and „Animals“ by Martin Garrix. So the first music type I started making was Big Room. However I was really just experimenting at that time and it took me a lot to come up with how to make big room music. With the time I started to listen to tones of music and my taste changed over the years. I started listening a lot to old music esspacily a lot to George Michael and Michael Jackson. However I still was hooked with the mainstream EDM music and with the hype coming into future bass it felt like it was just a matter of time until I started doing future bass aswell. Not to mention how many courses I’ve been taking over the years, and how much music I used to listen by my own.
What´s new right now?
Right now I’m working on a EP release which is suppose to be a short album of EDM music and Rap combined. I will release one of the track in a matter of days. It will be called Twisted. An amazing track one of my best tracks so far so make sure to check it out when it’s out in a few days! On the album I will feature artists like OTS ZERO, Tachio, cashu, sevntenn and some other rappers and artists… it will be real great if you check me out and maybe leave a follow, cause you will be provided with the best quality EDM music on the market ?

Do you have good promotion tips for other musicians?
Well doing quality professional music is the step number one. Your music needs to be both original enough and different enough from other tracks so it is something the viewer hasn’t heared before. Secound of all, having a good looking cover and page design is important too. Last but not least promoting for music via other services can be a great tip aswell

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
Just try things out, practice, learn. You need to feel your music and you will improve in a short time. Doing courses and doing Collabs is also great for improving your skills! Definetly recommend The EMS if you wanna take a course in Berlin regarding Ableton Music Production. That’s where I’ve learned everything !!!

What is your best tip for those who struggle with finishing their tracks?
If u struggle to finish, take a break from your track and do something different. Either a separate track in the meanwhile or just take a short break. If you come back to your song u were originally struggling with in a few hours, you’ll then be fresh and ready to finish it!
