Hello guys! I'm Denis, the producer behind Karter Futur & Janevan
I started production in 2008, I produce pieces according to my projects, in the beginning it was mostly drafts, I tried a lot of style starting with nu-disco, from trap, then house music.
In 2013 I starts the "Karter Futur" project through synthwave, outrun.

I sign my first EP in collaboration with a producer from Lyon at Qualia Records, this EP have echoed to an Australian radio, it will broadcasted on Radio Pure Gently "Synthetix Sunday", the show of 80's revival aficionados.

Now I produce lo-fi house, balearic beat, soulful house and some techno stuff with my new stage name Janevan, I already have one of my track in host on youtube channel of french label called Houseum Records.

For DJ gigs in Belgium, I played at the House Factory, headlining Dave Lambert, one of the most influential DJs of the Belgian house scene, I have already played at KHC Party, Traffic Noise and Deepnoize in Namur region.
In 2016 I discovered the Parisian universe with the JAM 808 in the 18th district of Paris in Olympic Café, I engaged improvisations on stage with my Roland TR-8.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influences are very varied,
I am a big fan of techno from detroit especially the Underground Resistance, Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Mike Banks, Drexciya, DJ Rolando, Robert Hood, Derrick Carter, Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Carl Craig and the masters of house Music, Damier, Ron Trent, Kerri Chandler and without forgetting the boss of electro, miami bass like Egyptian Lover, Afrika Bambaataa, Soul Sonic Force and Aux 88.
My recent influencers include DJ Seindfield, DJ Boring, Ross From Friends, Adryano, Lone, David August, Mall Grab, DeFekt, Hidden Spheres, Nick Araguay, Kink, Palm Trax or Stimming and music labels like Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade and Of Paradise.
I love disco, funk, rock but especially the 80s and 90s, house and techno mouvement which are for me one of the highlights of electronic music, a lot of machine, synthesizer and drum machine of that time create the style of electronic music that we have the chance to listen now and some of these machines are still used or even re-edit, it's great too see that old companies like Roland, Korg, Yamaha or even Moog reusing their old machines for the new generation of producers.
What´s new right now?
I have in mind to found my own label finally and continue to produce and play with different artists from different backgrounds.
