Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Jonathan but known as JTruthPA. I am a vocalist and and all around artist attacking many genres, but I really love Pop/funk and EDM. I'm 25 years old from the city of Philadelphia (215) and moved to Las Vegas to continue you passion and pursue my music career. Im currently woking on my latest EP titled ( She's My 925) consisting of disco/funk/ and EDM vibes. I'm also getting ready for my latest release called (Hot Sauce) releasing February 3rd and continue my climb to the top !! https://soundcloud.com/jtruthpa
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I am inspired by so many things all around me. My son, my friends, the ups and downs of life, independent artist as well as main stream media, pretty much everything ! I am heavily inspired by instrumentals and sounds in general so i'm constantly feeding my creative mind with beats and sounds from all over the world. I was in 3rd grade when I started to become passionate about music and as I grew older my influences that changed me were seeing how influential music can be. How it can heal people, how it can change a mood or capture a feeling, how it can express so many things that simple words can't. Over the years I went from just creating hiphop music to really understanding myself and my sound and branching out to different genres to really give a message or in other words… my truth. My taste in music and inspirations change everyday as I continue to find and explore new music and sounds. I'm really not Bruno Mars right now and i'm inspired by his continuous growth.
What´s new right now?
This year I started off strong with several featured projects including (Your The One ) with my good friend MokaBlast , another feature with clothing brand/ label Reek Of Royalty titled ( VIP Ticket) with is blowing up on Spotify and music video is on the way.The universe brought me and my brother JackEL together and we collaborated and recently released (Change The World) which we put a go fund me campaign together to have our fans, friends , and family help us to create a powerful music video to visually give out our message in this song. I have a release of my own called (Hot Sauce) releasing Feb 3rd and its guaranteed to make you move ! A few remixes are on the way (special surprise) for the fans who have been rocking with me since the beginning. I am about to launch my official JTruthPA website and merchandise while continue to build my brand.
