Jovani Melendez – San Francisco native. DJ & Producer.
Jovani has been a musician since the age of 11, starting with guitar and eventually moving on DJing and producing electronic music later on.
A Founding member of Sinewave Syndicate, a music collective in San Francisco, JustJovani’s sounds ranges from Acid house to Trap, with every sound in between. His blended soundscape comes from his inspirations from multiple music types, including techno, house, and many more.
JustJovani produces his music using Ableton, and you can hear him play his beats at events throughout the SF Bay Area.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My taste have gone from Electro & Dubstep beats when I 1st started to what I play currently which is After Hours Acid – House – Techno. As well I play Acidbass for my heavy sets.
What´s new right now?
Right now the label I manage Sinewave Syndicate are about to launch a huge event for March 31st called 18HR. I have some new mixes that will be released later this year along with debut tracks of mine ;].
