Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is knack tee, I’m a rapper/producer/singer from the Bay Area (408 stand up!) I created alternative and experimental Hip Hop. I am in the process of finishing my debut mixtape, “Pulp Fiction” right now! Make sure to click the link below to check out its first single, “Show Your Hands!”.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I’m heavily influenced by rappers like Aesop Rock, Royce Da 5’9”, Jay Z and J. Cole. I usually credit Eminem and Bad Meets Evil’s “Hell: The Sequel” as the artist and album which taught me how to rap, but as time went on I started to become more interested in Conscious rap, like Mos Def or Tribe.
I have a lot of influence from bands like Led Zepplin, The Adolescents, or Linkin Park. Jon Bellion and Andseron .Paak are my favorite singers and thus influence that aspects of my music.
What´s new right now?

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?
I’m a big big stupid fan of Jon Bellion, Kanye West and J Dilla. They’re geniuses. I remember discovering them on Pandora in middle school (lol) and I’ve been obsessed ever since.
Also Aesop Rock, that dude is the most creative lyricist I’ve ever heard of.

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
I struggle with how to build my fan base. It’s not too many other artists in my part of the Bay so I’m kinda working alone right now.

I’ve dropped my debut mixtape, I’m performing tracks from it, I’m dropping more collaborative EPs. I want to perform more at local venues like the Catalyst in Santa Cruz.
