Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Jacob Kapaka Sinyangwe (Tryybo) and John Mutale Nshimbi (Dj Blocks) Together We Are Kreative Nativez – A House Music Duo from Lusaka, Zambia.
Having both lived in the same neighbourhood and attended the same Secondary School, we forged a bond that spans over a decade. We have been playing and producing house music soundscapes for years, mainly Afro House…but only introduced the world to the Kreative Nativez in May 2017.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
We are enjoying our rising popularity, what we’re doing is something different and something new in our country.
House Music has always been and always will be our taste lol Afro, Deep and Electronic House Music We Love It All.
We aren't signed to any label and we haven't released any albums, mixtapes or compilations, but most of our music sits on SoundCloud, itunes, traxsource and beatport to name a few.
We draw inspiration from many sources for our music, including soul and jazz music.
